About TRP Imports.
Trp Imports Ltd was created in 2015 to focus on an increasing range of excellent products coming into the UK. Sharing a facility with the local Trp retail store founding MD Jonathan Pearson was able to follow the example of his father and grandfather.
Thomas Richard Pearson established Richard Person Ltd in 1955 and along with his son Roger worked hard to grow and manage the business to huge success, importing Grimme potato machinery from Germany. By 1993 around 3,500 machines had been delivered to UK farmers. This success came not only by having a quality product to sell but also by listening to customers and modifying machinery to suit their needs and maximise results. In the 1960’s and 70’s many innovative and patented ideas were introduced and the specialist art of soil separation was pioneered. This culture of constant Research and Design was fulfilled in the 1990’s when the family created the Pearson MegaStar and Enterprise products.
